SERBIAN INTERNATIONAL CUP IN BODY BUILDING AND FITNESS HAS BEEN OPENED
Member of the City Council for Sports and Youth, Tatjana Medved, opened the International Cup of Serbia in Body Building and Fitness, which was held in the Serbian Orthodox Church "Vojvodina". The Cup was organized by the Association of Serbia for Body Building, Fitness, Body Fitness and Aerobics in cooperation with the Body Building, Fitness and Aerobics Association of Novi Sad. On that occasion, the City was awarded a plaque for its contribution to the organization of this important sports competition.
- This international sports competition is another in a series, hosted by the City of Novi Sad, which uses every opportunity to confirm that it is a successful organizer of many sports events, which has greatly contributed to the City of Novi Sad becoming an official candidate for the title of "European City of Sport 2026" this year. I believe that we will win it, which would make our city proudly carry three European titles, youth, culture and sports from next year," said Tatjana Medved and greeted all participants of this year's competition, wishing them a lot of sporting success and adding that this year's Serbia Open Cup 2025 will be a true pleasure for all participants, guided by the basic rule of sportsmanship. To participate for pleasure and because they love what they do.
The International Serbian Cup in Body Building and Fitness is a competition that includes different categories and age groups in which over 200 competitors participated.

Important Notice to Organizations in the Field of Sport
Organizations in the field of sports that have signed contracts on the allocation of funds for the implementation of annual programs in the period of temporary financing (January-March) are hereby informed that they are obliged to submit new Harmonized Financial Plans of Annual Programs and Plans for the Implementation of Program Activities with the amount of allocated funds based on the new Decision on Approval of Funds for the Implementation of Annual Programs published on the website of the City Administration on March 25, 2025. The same shall be adjusted to the amount of funds approved under the said Decision, but which will now be reduced by the amount of funds that have been approved, i.e. for which the contract has been signed during the period of temporary financing.
"INVICTUS CHALLENGE 2025" HAS BEGUN AT THE PETROVARADIN FORTRESS
Member of the City Council for Sports and Youth Tatjana Medved opened the event "Invictus Challenge 2025" organized by the Sports Association "INVICTUS NS 021", which was held at the Petrovaradin Fortress. It is a unique sports competition, which involves overcoming various natural obstacles on a six-kilometer-long track, in which about a thousand competitors, of all ages, from nine countries participate.
- Sport plays a vital role in the life of the community in Novi Sad. With numerous sports facilities, successful organisation of various competitions, sports clubs that support and carry out various sports activities professionally and recreationally, and especially work with children and people with disabilities, they have contributed to the City of Novi Sad becoming an official candidate for the title of 'European City of Sport 2026' this year. I believe that we will win it, which would make our city proud to carry three European titles, youth, culture and sports from next year. This race, which is held in the barns of the Petrovaradin Fortress, is another proof that speaks in favor of winning this title. To participate and cross the finish line in such races, it is often considered that a superhuman effort is necessary, but many who carry the sporting spirit in themselves, believe that it is easy and possible for anyone who is ready to invest will, time and effort to test their strength and endurance and push their own limits – said Tatjana Medved and greeted all participants of this year's race, wishing them a lot of sporting success.
The aim of the event is to promote one of the most beautiful places in Novi Sad, the Petrovaradin Fortress, through a sporting attractive event, where nature becomes a path, and with the intention that through overcoming obstacles and moving through underground corridors, competitors get to know the fortress from a different perspective.

Decisions on Meeting the Needs and Interests of Citizens in the Field of Sports in the Territory of the City of Novi Sad, as well as the Narrative Report Form for Programmes of Special Importance for the City of Novi Sad, in accordance with Article 13, Paragraph 4 of the same Decision.
Organizations in the field of sports are informed that it is necessary to pay special attention to the Instruction contained in the above Forms, in order for each item to be adequately filled in.
