In the Local Action Plan of Youth Policy, it is recognized as one of the relevant subjects of youth policy in the territory of the City of Novi Sad. <\/p>\n<p>The importance of the Youth Council is reflected in the fact that it is a space for discussing issues of importance to young people, strengthening cross-sectoral cooperation and connecting local self-government with actors involved in the creation and implementation of youth policy. Through its work, the Council contributes to a better understanding of the needs of young people, improving dialogue with institutions and encouraging an active approach in planning measures to support young people. <\/p>\n<p>Within the broader system of youth policy of the City of Novi Sad, the Youth Council acts in cooperation with the City Administration for Sports and Youth \u2013 Youth Office, educational and scientific institutions, youth and youth associations, youth representative bodies and other relevant actors. This cooperation is of particular importance for continuous monitoring of the situation in the field of youth policy and for creating better conditions for living, working, developing and participating young people in the local community. <\/p>\n<p>The City of Novi Sad is committed to further empowering the position of young people through institutional dialogue, partnership approach and active involvement of various youth policy subjects.
