Their role is of particular importance in recognizing the needs of young people, implementing programs and projects, encouraging the active participation of young people in social life and strengthening partnerships between institutions and civil society. <\/p>\n

The City of Novi Sad recognizes the importance of youth organizations as reliable partners in creating, implementing and improving local youth policy. In cooperation with the City Administration for Sports and Youth \u2013 Youth Office, these organizations contribute to the development of programs that are focused on non-formal education, youth work, youth information, encouraging activism, volunteerism, youth participation in decision-making processes, as well as improving the overall quality of life of young people in the local community. <\/p>\n

Financing of programs and projects that implement the activities envisaged by the Local Action Plan for Youth Policy is carried out through a public competition announced by the City Administration for Sports and Youth – Youth Office, and the right to allocate funds can be exercised by youth associations, youth associations and their associations.<\/p>\n

According to the official data of the Ministry of Tourism and Youth of the Republic of Serbia, a total of 390 youth associations and youth associations, as well as 12 of their associations, have been registered in the single register of youth associations, youth associations and their associations from the territory of the City of Novi Sad, as of 30 June 2025. This data confirms the development of the youth sector in Novi Sad and the significant capacity of the local community to work with and for young people. <\/p>\n

The City of Novi Sad is committed to continuing to support the work of youth organisations, strengthen cross-sectoral cooperation and create a stimulating environment in which young people have the opportunity to develop their potentials, participate in the life of the community and contribute to the further development of the city.<\/p>\n
